PACE Activities

PACE offers Entrepreneur character-driven learning opportunities:

Entrepreneur and Career Tech opportunities help enhance student learning, motivation, provide for the completion of electives, and teach self-efficacy. PACE HS offers the following

Opportunities:

Entrepreneurship:  School Run Businesses - "On Spot Style" Screen Printing and "Flying Fryz" food trailer

  • T-Shirt Printing and Design
    • Students have the opportunity to design and print t-shirts.
  • Food Trailer at district events.
    • Students will run the food trailer during events.
  • Art
    • Students create and provide artwork for different events, whether it be for the t-shirts or the Spartan runners.
    • Student also design motivational murals for the school or surrounding areas.
  • Publishing
    • Students are encouraged to create a written piece of work to be published in certain publications.
  • Outdoor Education
    • Students learn different aspects of the outdoors, including gardening, outdoor cooking, etc.
  • Computer Science
    • Students take 2 accelerated courses in computer science, where they learn basic coding. Successful completion and credit also satisfies one’s Language Other Than English graduation requirement.

 

To be leaders in the community, business or to lead one’s own family, character-driven leadership is a foundation. Here are some of the activities:

  • Pfall Pfestival
    • Students plan and provide a great festival opportunity for all of the elementary special needs students in the district.
  • Spring Pfestival
    • This is similar to the Pfall Pfest, but is for the secondary special needs students in the district.
  • Spartan run and volunteer event
    • Students, who are interested, can volunteer at a Spartan obstacle course event to receive a voucher to participate in a later Spartan race.
  • Business Professionals of America Work Place Skills Competition.
